Hurston, Zora Neale cultural definition

A twentieth-century African-American novelist, folklorist, and anthropologist, best known for her novel Their Eyes Were Watching God. A member of the Harlem Renaissance, Hurston is also known for her collection of African-American lore, Mules and Men.
